CHO transfection chemically defined serum free medium

　Gxpress CHO TF Reagent has been developed for the gene expression system of Chinese hamster overy (CHO) cells, such as CHO-S, CHO-K1, DG44, or DXB11 cells, and the high production of recombinant proteins or the transfection assay in serum-free culture. All contents of Gxpress CHO TF Reagent are a chemically defined composition that no contains serum, protein, animal origin, hydrolysates, and no unknown composition.
Gxpress CHO TF Reagent consists of a highly efficient gene transfer reagent and CHO Complexing Solution for forming optimal DNA/reagent complex. Gxpress CHO TF Reagent can be mixed with plasmid DNA into CHO Complexing Solution and added to the medium of CHO cells, so that transfection assay for high production of target recombinant protein in a short term is possible.

Suspension CHO cells were cultured with disposable Erlenmeyer flasks under the following conditions.
Gxpress CHO Transfection System leads to the high performance in human IgG (whole molecule) production for CHO cells.
＜ Culture conditions ＞
(1) Seeding cell density：2 x 10e6 cells/mL, >95% viability.
(2) Shaker culture：125 rpm, 37℃, 8% CO2.
(3) Transfection system：Gxpress CHO Transfection & Medium Kit (GMEP Inc.).

Suspension CHO cells were cultured with disposable Erlenmeyer flasks under the following conditions.
CH400/400AZ medium leads to the high performance similar to Thermo CD OptiCHO medium in cell growth for CHO cells.

(1) Seeding cell density：2 x 10e5 cells/mL.
(2) Shaker culture：125 rpm, 37℃, 8% CO2.
(3) Culture volume：30 mL with L-alanyl-L-glutamine.
