hybridoma myeloma chemically defined serum free medium

HY200 medium is a chemically defined medium / serum-free medium optimized for the growth and antibody production of hybridoma or myeloma in serum-free culture. The medium contains no proteins, hydrolysates, or components of animal and plant composition. All components have a known chemical structure.
HY200 medium has the advantages of lot-to-lot consistency and the ease of downstream purification of target proteins. When culturing cholesterol-dependent myelomas such as NS0 cells, it is necessary to add cell culture tested cholesterol into the medium.

Fig. 1)Growth rate of mouse hybridomas in HY200 medium or commercial media.

Mouse hybridoma 9E10 cells subcultured in IMDM with 10% FBS were directly inoculated at 2.0 x 10e5 cells/mL and incubated into HY200 medium (5 mL with 4 mM Gln), IMDM with 10% FBS (5 mL), or other commercial media (5 mL with 4 mM Gln) in T25 flasks at 37℃ and 5% CO2.

Rat hybridoma BF11 cells subcultured in IMDM with 10% FBS were directly inoculated at 2.0 x 10e5 cells/mL and incubated into HY200 medium (5 mL with 4 mM Gln), IMDM with 10% FBS (5 mL), or other commercial media (5 mL with 4 mM Gln) in T25 flasks at 37℃ and 5% CO2.
