CHO cells｜Feed medium｜Chemically defined & Serum-free medium

　Gxpress CHO Feed medium is a chemically defined medium / serum-free medium for using in fed-batch culture and optimized for the high production of recombinant proteins in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, such as CHO-K1, CHO-S, DG44, and DXB11 cells. The medium contains no proteins, hydrolysates, or components of animal and plant composition. All components have a known chemical structure.

Gxpress CHO Feed medium has the advantages of lot-to-lot consistency and the ease of downstream purification after expression of recombinant proteins. The feed medium supports small- and large-scale protein expression in stably or transiently transfected CHO cells.

CHO-K1 cells adapted to CH400 medium were incubated at a cell density of 2.0 x 10e5 cells/mL with CH400 medium (25 mL with 8 mM Gln) in 125 mL sharker flasks and rotated at 125 rpm, 37℃, and 5% CO2. Gxpress CHO Feed medium was added on day 3 at 6 mL.
